Streetwear style brand Criminal Damage has released a brand-new, limited-edition 2021 collection in collaboration Nintendo’s cult favourite’s, Pokémon.
The launch celebrates Pokémon’s upcoming 25-year anniversary and Criminal Damage’s 30-year anniversary collectively, with the limited edition collection paying homage to some of Pokémon’s most iconic characters and symbols, including Pikachu, Charizard, Mew Two and more.
The 12-piece collection consisting of t-shirts, hoodies, and tops, combines the iconic graphics of the Pokémon universe with Criminal Damage’s signature streetwear aesthetic, resulting in a collection that is set to appeal to Pokémon and streetwear fans of all ages.
On the 27th of February 1996, Pokémon released its first video game in Japan and since then has evolved into not only one of the world’s most iconic video games, but also a vast entertainment franchise which has majorly impacted popular culture.
Criminal Damage’s Founder, Sunny Aytan, explains: “We are so excited to collaborate with such a fantastic brand to mark two special business milestones. The collection itself is a great fusion of our urban streetwear mixed with the incredible artwork and retro feel that Pokémon is known for around the world.”
The brand-new collection will be available to shop online at Criminal Damage and selected retailers including Zalando and Truffle Shuffle from Friday 23rd February with prices starting at £35.
